Preaching Minister - Dwayne Klepal

Dwayne is married to Kim and they have three children and one grandchild. Pittsburgh is where Dwayne was born and grew up and he still cheers for the Steelers. After college he had his first ministry just 10 minutes away from where he was born in Coraopolis, PA.

Dwayne attended Great Lakes Christian College in Lansing, Michigan where he received a Bachelors of Religious Education degree. Dwayne also graduated from Kentucky Christian University with a Master of Practical Ministry degree.

Dwayne has been with us since 1997 when he was hired as our Youth Minster and in 1999, he became our Preaching Minister. Dwayne enjoys weight lifting, running, Tae Kwon Do, watching his children play soccer, and most of all spending time with his family.

Youth Minister - Chris McClure

Chris is a 1999 graduate of Kentucky Christian University. He earned a degree in Bible and Christian Ministry. Chris gained the majority of his ministry experience through three internships during his college years. He came to SCC after serving at Northside Christian Church in Wadsworth, OH for four years. He joined SCC’s staff in April, 2004. He is responsible for leading Middle School, High School and College Age ministries.

Chris married his long-time sweetheart, Jill, on May 18, 2001. They have two sons, Ryan and Evan.

Music Minister - Dean Lancaster

Dean was born in Atlanta, Georgia on July 15, 1961. He grew up in nearby Decatur, attending Mount Carmel Christian Church, where he was baptized into Christ at the age of eight. He later attended First Baptist Church of Avondale Estates and graduated from Avondale High School in 1979.

During his high school years, Dean developed a love for music and began to sense that God was leading him to use his musical talent in Christian service. This prompted him to continue his education at Mercer University in Atlanta, where he earned a Bachelor Degree in Church Music in 1983. While attending college, he accepted his first music ministry position at Rowland Hills Baptist Church in Stone Mountain, GA at the age of nineteen. A year later, a beautiful young lady named Debra Roberts joined the choir and seven months later they were married.

Dean went on to serve as music/youth minister at several churches in the metro Atlanta area before coming to Snellville Christian Church in June, 1996. They have six children and one grandchild. They reside just outside of the city of Grayson.

Preschool Ministry Director - Beth Leslie

Beth has been serving in the Preschool Ministry since 1999. Beth was born and raised in Georgia, attended college at Auburn University where she met her husband, Mark. Beth and Mark have two adult daughters, Anne and Lynn.

Office Manager - Kathy Malone

Kathy came to SCC in 2001 when her husband, Don, accepted a job with the FAA. Prior to her move to Georgia, Kathy was the co-director of a Crisis Pregnancy Center in the Pittsburgh, PA area for 10 years.

Kathy was born and raised in Pittsburgh and attended Wheaton College in Wheaton, IL where she earned a B.A. degree in Christian Education and Biblical Studies. Kathy and Don have two grown children, Steve and Jill. In her spare time, Kathy likes to garden, read, bake cookies and travel.
