Whether this is your first date or your first in a long time, please plan to join us for an evening of fine food and entertainment. Tickets are available after the 10:30 Worship service or by calling the church office. Childcare is also available for ages 6 months to 5th grade.

How is your marriage?  Life can be hard and although marriage is designed to provide us a helpmate, sometime it seems marriage can make life seem even harder.  God did not intend marriage to make life harder.  In fact, His plan is for two to become one and help eachother do life.  

StayMarried4LIFE is a Married Couples Ministry of Snellville Christian Church .

The Mission of SM4L:
To be a valuable Christ-centered resource for married couples providing encouragement through prayer, relationship, special events, meetings, the internet, and direct personal interaction.

SM4L offers weekly married couples small groups for you and your spouse.  Couples are meeting weekly to encourage and learn from one another while studing and viewing multi-media materials which instruct them in biblical prinicples for marriage, parenting and family life.  If you would like to talk with a couple who is participating in these groups contact our leaders.  Please prayerfully consider joining one of these groups.

SM4L Essentials

The core principles of this ministry are listed below. With every gathering, small group meeting or special event these six essentials will be taught, encouraged and promoted.

  1. If having a healthy marriage seems almost impossible, we understand. However, we also have come to understand the number one essential to a truly healthy marriage is allowing God to control our lives. That is why StayMarried4Life believes the number one essential for a healthy marriage is to ….Trust God.
  2. It is essential in order to have a healthy marriage you must make your time together a priority. For marriages to thrive, schedules must reflect the huge priority of home. In other words, cut time at work short if you must, but do not cut time short at home. In fact, at StayMarried4Life we will strongly encourage you to ….Hurry Home.
  3. There may be nothing worse than feeling misunderstood. And perhaps there is nothing better than feeling understood. Good communication is paramount in a good marriage. StayMarried4Life believes it is essential for you and your spouse to ….Cultivate Communication.
  4. The power of romance, sex and intimacy can be a married couple’s biggest ally or its greatest enemy. It’s quite natural to want your spouse to remember your romantic needs and desires. However, StayMarried4Life believes and promotes the goal of putting your spouse’s needs and desires first. That is the best and most effective way to ….Nurture Romance.
  5. By God’s design, men and women are very different. Our differences can be used to compliment and serve each other, or might drive us apart. We often try to change our spouses, in the name of love. StayMarried4Life believes a better option is to simply love our spouses, even if they never change. It’s crucial for couples to seek to understand and accept each other’s differences.  That’s why we want you to ….Celebrate Differences.
  6. More and more people every day are putting divorce on the table as an option. One essential thing every healthy marriage needs is real security. People need to know that together as a couple, they can work out and through everything. Divorce IS NOT an option. StayMarried4Life want couples to .…Finish Together. 
  7. StayMarried4Life believes that small groups are the best place for sustained life-change to occur. The small group experience is where couples will study God’s word, pray for one another and discuss the issues and challenges of this life. Additionally, these groups are where members will be missed if they don’t show up. Couples will be encouraged and challenged in their relationships with God and each other.
