We believe God has called Snellville Christian Church (SCC) to be a part of the most awesome assignment ever given to mankind – the "Great Commission" given by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ:
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." [ Matthew 28:19,20 NIV ]
One of the ways we intend to help fulfill this Great Commission throughout the world is through our missions programs here at SCC.
The purpose of our Missions Committee is to act in a supportive way to our missionaries, both at home and on the foreign missions field by meeting the following objectives:
Informational Objective
Actively seek methods to increase the awareness of the missions programs at SCC.
Inspirational Objective
Actively seek to inspire the congregation by communicating the testimonies, sacrifices, answered prayers, and financial requests of the missionaries we support, thereby developing a greater interest in missions.
Involvement Objective
Actively seek methods to increase participation of individuals in financial and prayer support of our home and foreign missionaries.
