CCF GlobalScope [Chris Beirne]
In fall 2004, CMF began cross-cultural Globalscope campus ministry in Salamanca, Spain, the city with the country’s oldest university. Located about two hours from Madrid, it is the total definition of a college town. At any time of the day (or night!), you can find students everywhere in the street. Each year over 35,000 students from all over Europe and the world converge at the University of Salamanca to educate themselves toward a successful and influential future. The Globalscope ministry, known as " En Vivo ," reaches these future leaders through the building of community, friendships, weekly evangelistic meetings, and Bible studies. Through En Vivo, the students have an opportunity to develop a relationship with Jesus Christ and grow in their faith. To assist the ministry, exchange students from US colleges and universities come to Salamanca every semester to take classes, make friends, and share their love of Jesus with the Spanish students.
